<P>整个车站的外部造型就像一滴被拉长的水珠，内部被挖空以满足遮蔽物的功能，它就像一个巨大的雕塑，同时又仿佛人们被鲸鱼吞食后落到了它的胃里。旅客等候的座位从墙面上雕刻而出，西侧端头有一个供乘务人员使用的休息室。整个车站在工厂制作切割成聚苯乙烯模块，分成5部分运到现场粘合安装，并在外表面喷涂聚酯表皮，与基地的混凝土地面铆合。这是世界上使用人造合成材料建造的最大的结构，经过试验，它可以抵御一般自然和人为的侵害。建筑的造型很好地适应了场地和它所担负的功能，并成为了一个地标物，为该城市注入了活力。</P>
